Alison Duffin

Alison (she/her) has over 30 years specialised nursing experience working both in London and Melbourne in the sexual health sector as, a team leader, educator, clinician, program manager and coordinator.
Alison has spent her entire career dedicated to advocating for marginalised young people, and other groups, to be able to access high quality, affordable, inclusive, confidential health services through service delivery, education, and policy development.
Alison has provided education sessions in a variety of different settings, including the youth and community sector, youth custody, Police Services, Universities, and Primary and Tertiary health care.
In 2007 Alison received the prestigious Sexual Health & Family Planning Australia ‘Coral Lloyd Memorial Trophy’ for ‘outstanding contribution to sexual and reproductive health and family planning nursing.’ It was a very proud moment in her long-standing nursing career.
